About
Bond Pharmacy enjoys a long history of quality service to Moniteau County spanning more than 140 years.
In 1876 owner Dr. F. W. Houser opened the doors as Houser Drug Store where he served his community well. In 1950, the business changed hands for a second time and was renamed Lehman’s Drug Store. The third and current owner, Ward Bond, R.Ph., took over in 1989 and changed the name to Bond Pharmacy. In 2004 the business moved to a new location at 703 West Buchanan Street where Bond and his staff continue to serve the community with skill and dedication.
Unlike large retailers, Bond Pharmacy is a family. The friendly, thoughtful service provided is what keeps customers coming back. With a welcoming atmosphere, the friendly staff greets each person that walks through the door. You will be pleased with the short wait time for your prescription, unlike many chain pharmacies. The customer is always the #1 priority at Bond Pharmacy!
In 2015, the Bond Pharmacy was awarded Business of the Year by the California Chamber of Commerce. Because this honor originates with community members who freely submit nomination forms, the recognition was especially gratifying for the dedicated staff behind the counter at Bond Pharmacy.
